Launch of the Regional Readiness Project “Strengthening the Evidential Basis for the Adoption of Adaptation Technologies for Small Holder Farmers,” September 23, Claxton Bay

The MPEAD, in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and with funding from the Green Climate Fund, launched the Project at the Cara Suites Hotel and Conference Centre. The Project aims to support smallholder farmers through evidence-based solutions, training, and access to climate-resilient technologies. Senator the Honourable Ravi Ratiram, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, delivered the feature address to a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives from academia, the farming community, and organizations promoting climate-resilient agriculture. He underscored the project’s importance in strengthening resilience within the agricultural sector.
