The National Ozone Unit continued the national implementation of the Montreal Protocol mainly through several projects funded by the Multilateral Fund of the Montreal Protocol as well as the Global Environment Facility. Activities under these projects aim to strengthen the national capacity and skills of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) Sector as well as the fire suppression sector and the fumigation sector through trainings, ozone and climate friendly technology transfer, sensitization, and improvement of the policy and legal framework.
